A clarification is made on the nature of phase transformations dealt with in a recent article [F. Tancret, Computational Materials Science 4 (2007) 13-19]. The two modelled phenomena are in fact of a different nature, i.e. the exclusive Melting of gamma ' on the one hand, and the eutectic-type constitutional liquation of gamma ' on the other hand.
